Jeff brings more than twenty-five years of leadership and entrepreneurial experience to his work with business owners. His career spans creating, acquiring, operating, and selling companies, which gives him a practical understanding of how value is built and how it transfers when an owner decides to step into their next chapter. That mix of experience shapes the way he advises clients today, with a focus on helping owners scale with intention and prepare for an eventual exit that reflects both the financial and personal goals they have worked toward.
Jeff works across the full lifecycle of entrepreneurship. He supports individuals who want to start or acquire a business, coaches owners through the critical growth and system-building stages, and guides founders through the complexities of preparing for and navigating a successful sale. His approach is centered on serving and inspiring others to reach their potential, whether that means improving operational performance, clarifying strategy, or planning for a future transition.
Before entering the advisory world, Jeff earned an Aerospace Engineering degree from the University of Colorado and served eight years as a Naval Flight Officer. His roles included Airborne Communications Officer, Mission Commander, and Flight Instructor supporting the nation’s Nuclear Command, Control, and Communication mission. During his service, he launched a web development company that he later merged into a full-service advertising agency. After sixteen years of operation, he successfully exited that business to a public company. He later added hands-on experience in the franchise ecosystem through ownership of a sports photography franchise and a multi-location wellness franchise.
Jeff brings this breadth of experience to his roles as a business broker, business coach, and franchise consultant. He helps owners prepare their companies for market, conducts valuation and exit readiness assessments, and manages the full sale process from initial interest through closing. For growth-minded entrepreneurs and investors, he identifies franchise opportunities that align with long-term goals. For owners considering expansion through franchising, he provides guidance on how to structure and position a concept for successful replication.
Based in Oklahoma, Jeff enjoys coaching youth sports and traveling with his children’s competitive teams. As a certified personal trainer and nine-time Ironman finisher, health and wellness remain a steady part of his life and influence his coaching style with clients. He mentors veterans through Hire Heroes USA, serves as a Coach and Entrepreneurial Mentor for The Honor Foundation, and supports veteran-led acquisitions as Director of Search and Acquisition for Owners in Honor.
He is an active member of the International Business Broker Association and the M&A Source and is pursuing his Certified Business Intermediary designation.
Above all, Jeff’s work is grounded in the values that shaped his military career: honor, courage, and commitment. Those principles guide how he supports business owners as they plan, build, and transition the companies they have invested their lives into.
